First.....welcome to my online Gallery and thank you for your visit!  

                      Second......a little about myself....

I am a self taught artist, painting primarily with oils.  Most of my originals are on linen canvas or canvas board.  My themes are mainly Western; rodeo cowboys, cowgirls, horses, buffalos, along with a few Southern and Italian landscapes.  However I have at times also been known to paint a bit of whimsy, especially during the end of year holiday season.

 In 2020 my original oil painting One Barrel Down was awarded First Place and Best of Show for Sonoran Art Leagues Scottsdale Desert Hills show, and I am thrilled to announce the National Oil & Acrylics Society has judged "A Long Way to Go" into their 2022 National Online Exhibition.  I have had numerous paintings in galleries in Arizona (where I lived for 5 years) and many are with private collectors throughout the country.  

I am also very proud to be a Patreon of Skydog Sanctuary who rescues wild Mustangs and burros from America's BLM roundups and kill pens, and also a sponsor of, and contributor of original art to Hold Your Horses Livestock Emergency Evacuation Response Teams annual fundraising gala.

 I am a member of Oil Painters of America, National Oil & Acrylics Society, American Women Artists, Nevada Artists Assoc., and the Latimer Art Club of Reno.  I now live in the high desert state of Nevada with my husband and two goofy dogs and zip to my daughter's house whenever I feel the need for some ranch life, horses and the wonderful smell of hay, saddles and horseflesh!
